Start playing
Active and playful cats can slap each other to invite each other to play. Cats that invite play by slapping each other will have body language appropriate to playful cats. Their whiskers will move forward and they will focus on the situation at hand. Their claws will retract so as not to hurt the other cat. A slapped cat will not roar, scream or hiss.
