According to ERSE, in the regulated market, contrary to what happens in the liberalized market, the activity carried out by the various natural gas suppliers is totally subject to the rules established by ERSE - Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços Energéticos.

This means that, on the regulated market, Suppliers of Last Resort (CUR) can only apply to their customers the tariffs and prices entirely set by the ERSE. The contractual rules are also approved by ERSE and are the same for all CURs.

As of September 7, 2022, all customers (domestic and professional), whose annual gas consumption does not exceed 10,000 m3, may, if they so wish, conclude a natural gas supply contract with the Seller by Last Resort (CUR) in your geographical area.
