THE BALL – After six goals in two games, Artur Jorge underlines: “We are still not at our best level” (SC Braga)

Artur Jorge was a visibly satisfied coach after the victory over Famalicão (3-0) in the second round of the League. The SC Braga coach hailed the team’s good start.

“We came ready to be dominators. We had the attitude and the courage to face the game from the start. Our first 25 minutes were very strong, with great intensity and we scored two goals. We slowed down a little later, but at half-time we said to ourselves that it was not to believe that it was done and we came back faster. We were able to control and reach the third goal which left us more relaxed. It was a very interesting match, a very fair and acquired victory,” he explained in the short interview.

After six goals in two rounds (3-3 against Sporting and 3-0 against Famalicão), SC Braga appeared truly demolishing in the final third. However, Artur Jorge stresses that there is work to be done.

“It’s an SC Braga that is not yet at its best and has room to grow. We worked hard all week to prepare for the matches. We had a very difficult rival, with a complicated past with SC Braga – it was the first win in the League – and we are happy with what we have achieved, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us”, said he concluded.
