DAfter several weeks of increases, diesel and gasoline prices resumed their decline on Monday, with a drop that should be more significant in the case of diesel.
Forecasts indicate a decline of up to three cents in the case of diesel and one cent in the case of gasoline, reveals the RTP.
Following these expectations, the Government decided to maintain, on Friday, the tax on petroleum products (ISP) on diesel. On the other hand, it will increase the tax burden on gasoline.
Where are the cheapest prices?
Let’s move on to prices first: the average price of simple 95 petrol on Sunday June 26 was 2,106 euros per liter (€/litre), according to data from the Directorate General for Energy and Geology (DGEG). Simple diesel costs on average €2,094/litre. These prices, it should be noted, do not yet include the decision expected for this week.
