According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Mercedes-Benz group will use around one million vehicles worldwide for repair workshops. At issue is a potential problem in the braking system, specifically in the braking systems of GL and ML vehicles built between 2004 and 2015.
Mercedes has already confirmed this situation to AFP, explaining that "a rigid or strong maneuver" of braking could cause mechanical damage to the vehicles covered in "rare cases" of very severe corrosion.
