It’s lighter, more affordable, and designed for students. Here’s how, in a nutshell, Microsoft’s new laptop is presented. It can now be pre-ordered on the official website of the North American manufacturer, and the arrival in stores is scheduled for July 19. The price will vary depending on the version you choose from the three available: 679 euros (4 GB of RAM with 128 GB of SSD), 779 euros (8 GB of RAM with 128 GB) or 879 euros (8 GB of RAM with 256 GB ).

This new laptop will feature a 12.4-inch PixelSense display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 1536 x 1024 resolution. It comes with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. The battery, promises the brand, will allow 13.5 hours of operation in “normal use”. The two most expensive versions will also have fingerprint sensors. The three models are available in light grey, dark grey, blue and gold.
