Despite the delay, the game has gained new images during the official declaration
In an official statement on Tuesday (29), Nintendo said that the continuation of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been delayed and is expected to release in 2023, Eiji Aonuma confirmed the video delay and also posted some screenshots of the new game, check it out below
Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel delayed
During the video, Eiji Aonuma, producer of series zelda said:We previously announced that we were aiming for a 2022 release for this game” and continue with “To experience this Game something special, the entire development team continues to work diligently, so please wait a little longer”.
The series producer continued with, “The adventure of this sequel will take place not only on the ground, as in the previous game, but also in the air. However, the expanded world goes beyond that, and there will be an even wider variety of features for you to enjoy, including new encounters and gameplay elements.» and concluded : «To make the experience of this game something special, the entire development team continues to work diligently on this game, so please wait a little longer.”.
The game was supposed to be released this year, but with a bit of a delay we think the sequel should arrive between March and April 2023.
