LE BALLON – The national team called up for the qualification for the 2023 World Cup (Women’s Football)

Francisco Neto announced, this Monday, the group of 23 for the next rounds of the qualifying phase for the 2023 World Cup. Portugal, remember, will face Germany (April 9 in Bielefeld) and Bulgaria ( the 12th in Barcelos), counting for group H.

In the list, Benfica stands out, which is the team with the most athletes in the national team (seven), followed by SC Braga and Sporting, both with six. In addition, of the 23 summoned, only two act outside the championship.

Recall that Portugal is in second place in Group H with 13 points, five points behind the German leader. The first classified qualify directly for the play-off, where the three best runners-up will also be present.
