Pedro Caixinha was, this Friday, announced as the new coach of Talleres, coming from Argentina. This is the return of the Portuguese coach in activity a few weeks after leaving the Mexican club Santos Laguna.
Last season, Talleres finished 3rd in the Argentine Superliga, a position which earned him the emblem of Córdoba by qualifying for the Libertadores group stage, where Pedro Caixinha will face Paulo Sousa (Flamengo) and Universidad Católica (Chile) and Sporting Cristal (Peru).
Pedro Caixinha has signed a contract until the end of the season and will make his debut on the bench on April 3, in a home game against Gimnasia La Plata.
