A match rich in emotions, Friday evening, between Wolverhampton and Leeds, for the 30th day of the Premier League.
The Bruno Lage-led side reached the break leading 2-0, goals from Jonny, in the 26th minute, assisted by Trincão, the first time he touched the ball – he came in a minute early to replace the injured Rúben Neves – and, in injury time, the Portuguese striker on loan from Barcelona scored the second for the Lobos.
But the second part was a debacle for the hosts.
Mexico striker Raúl Jiménez, who played for Benfica, was sent off for racking up yellow cards in the 53rd minute, something of a way for Leeds to win.
Jack Harrison reduced in the 63rd minute, Spaniard Rodrigo equalized (66′) and Luke Ayling, in the first minute of added time in the second half, condemned the match.
