The health secretary’s director of primary care, infectious disease physician Rodrigo Carneiro, advises avoiding closed environments and places with crowds of people. “Eating healthy, sleeping well, for about 8 hours, and practicing physical activity also help strengthen the immune system against the virus,” explained the doctor, noting that many diseases are preventable by vaccination, hence the importance of keeping the vaccination record up to date. to date, especially for children.

“In recent years, we have seen the return of diseases, such as measles, which are vaccine-preventable, that is, they can be prevented through vaccination,” Rodrigo Carneiro said.
