[테크월드뉴스=장민주 기자] AMD has introduced the latest technologies to improve frame rates and image quality.
On the 18th, AMD announced “AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition 2022” and “AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0”, an advanced spatial upgrade technology. With the new FSR 2.0 software and technology, AMD plans to bring users new levels of performance, high responsiveness, and visual fidelity across multiple game titles.
The new AMD software is designed to improve the gaming performance of AMD-powered systems with many industry-leading innovations. The software includes AMD Radeon Super Resolution, a driver-based update technology that delivers improved performance and high-resolution visuals across thousands of game titles. Additionally, the AMD Link app update allows users to use their PC as a personal gaming cloud, allowing them to play local multiplayer games with other users from anywhere. AMD Radeon Image Sharpening (RIS) provides enhanced visuals for video playback and web applications.
AMD FSR 2.0, slated for release in Q2 2022, dramatically improves frame rates when gaming through transient data and better false signal suppression, and delivers image quality that exceeds native resolution without dedicated machine learning aid. Like its predecessors, FSR 2.0 is also available from AMD and many competing GPU products.
“Great hardware needs great software to match,” said Frank Azure, design manager at AMD. AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition 2022 “delivers up to 15% more performance on recent game titles than the previous generation, with regular updates.” With FSR 2.0 technology, we will maximize the performance of the latest graphics cards to deliver an immersive gaming experience.
