New iPhoneSErecently announced by Apple and already available on the international market, could prove to be a very profitable bet for Apple, suggests analyst Amit Daryanani.
With a price just over $400 there – and should arrive here from R$ 4,199 – the brand’s most affordable high-end phone can outperform 35 million units in 2022 alone, giving a boost of up to $20 billion (more than 100 billion reais) to the company’s income.
He suggests the iPhone SE should entice traditional users of older iPhones to revamp their handsets for this budget-friendly, 5G-connected, yet still powerful handset with the A15 Bionic platform, than the iPhone 13.
Third-generation iPhone SE units can represent up to 5% of Apple’s revenue projections through the end of 2022. If the outlook materializes, it will be great news for Apple investors as the company continues to establish its leadership in the high-end segment as it gropes the entry-level market.
