THE Konami updated franchise trademark registration silent Hill this week in data discovered by the community and published on Reddit. This information lifted the morale of the fans a little, because there are several unconfirmed rumors about a next Game of the franchise being in production by the company.

According to double shocks and reddit, Konami has updated the trademark registration for Tokimeki Memorial, Silent Hill, Fantasy Water Margin Den, Flogger and Gradius franchises. Of all these updates, the one that caught the most attention was Silent Hill, as many rumors were already circulating in the community.

Silent Hill has been without news since 2014 when the PT (Playable Teaser) of Silent Hill, created by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro, was released. However, with Hideo Kojima’s departure from Konami, Silent Hill was put on hold and no further information was revealed until then.

It is important to note that no official information about Silent Hill has been revealed by Konami, so it remains to wait for official news regarding the franchise. However, Konami’s plans released in 2021 list Silent Hill among the projects that could return, along with Castlevania and Metal Gear – which are the company’s flagship franchises.
