The Swiss real estate company Solid Sentinel, of the Capvest group, bet on Barreiro to build a real estate project of 518 apartments.
NOOBA – Fresh New Living offers residences from T1 to T5 worth 189,000 euros and future residents will have access to a communal swimming pool, an athletics track, gardens and leisure areas. The most expensive apartment, 1.29 million euros, is a T5 with a 280 m² terrace and a private swimming pool.
Construction will start in May and the first apartments will be available in 2024 and the total investment will be between 110 and 130 million euros. For the first phase of the project, the investment will be around 35 million euros, Sentinel explains to Negócios.
Solid Sentinel’s bet comes at a time when housing prices in Lisbon continue to rise, seeing Barreiro “as a place to live par excellence, less than 20 minutes from Praça do Comércio”, specifies the real estate company.
For Sentinel CEO Alain Gross, NOOBA is “a project that aims to respond to the latest social and market trends, such as the telework regime or greater proximity to nature”.
The project – which is designed primarily for young people – was designed by architect Miguel Saraiva and has a total area of 98,360 square meters.
