Five times bigger than the Titanic, Wonder of the Seas is already sailing

The boat is the world’s largest cruise ship and began its maiden voyage on Friday, completing a seven-day voyage to the Caribbean.

O wonder of the seas, the largest cruise ship in the world, began its maiden voyage on Friday. The ship took off from the Everglades port in the city of Fort Lauderdad in the US state of Florida, reveals the initiated.

The ship belongs to Royal Caribbean and will take a seven-day trip to the Caribbean region, passing through Labadee, Haiti, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Nassau, Bahamas and the exclusive Perfect Day destination in Cococay, reserved only for Royal Caribbean guests.

“This cruise line invites vacationers of all ages aboard the world’s largest cruise ship to experience the ultimate combination of all-new adventures and favorite amusements of Royal Cabibbean designed to inspire wonder and awe,” the company said in a statement.

Royal Caribbean also kicked off the voyage on Twitter with some impressive photographs of the ship.

The ship is 362 meters long, 65 meters wide and weighs 236,857 tons and can accommodate nearly 7,000 passengers. The company takes a virtual guided tour of the entire ship in its to place.

This marvel of the seas also includes many attractions for tourists, being equipped with a 25-meter zip line, mini-golf and a ten story slide.

There are also water theater shows, areas for ice skating and more than 20 restaurants and bars, with dining options ranging from Italy to Japan.

Wonder of the Seas will continue to do seven-day Caribbean cruises until April, after which it will head to Barcelona and Rome, where it will Mediterranean Sea.
