The PSI-20 ended this Carnival Tuesday session losing 1.17% to 5,498.27 points. Despite everything, the Portuguese stock market fell less than its European counterparts.
Of the 19 listed on the index, six closed higher and 13 lower.
On the negative side, BCP stood out, which lost 6.72%, to 0.154 euros, after yesterday, after the markets closed, having announced a 24.6% drop in profits 2021. EDP also pressured the index, which fell 3.96%, to 4.191 euros, as well as Sonae, which fell 3.04%, to 0.9405 euros.
EDP Renováveis, another heavyweight, interrupted the strong gains of the past few days and fell 2.21%, closing at 21.24 euros.
The main PSI-20 damage limiters were Galp, which was up 3.72%, at €10,225, and Jerónimo Martins, up 1.96%, ending the day at €19,805.
Greenvolt, which last night announced an agreement for purchase of 35% of German MaxSolar for 26 million euros, it brought in 0.17%.
