Samsung’s latest family of smartphones, the Galaxy S22s, came out of the pre-sale regime this Friday and beat the maximum values previously achieved by the South Korean firm’s other ranges.
Along with these new records, the Galaxy Tab S8 is also above its predecessors in terms of the number of pre-purchases.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the favorite of the whole range
It was a year of change for Samsung who, for the first time, decided to change the direction of the S line by joining it with the Note line to offer the best of both worlds in the same product line. That’s, in a simplified way, the concept of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, joining the best of the S line with the recently discontinued Note line.
It was on February 9 that the new families have been introduced into the worldand it was also on this day that the pre-sales of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 began.
Right from the start, they started having startling numbers that broke all previous records. In India, the Galaxy S22 had over 70,000 pre-purchases made. In the country of origin, South Korea, the figures exceeded the million presales, and now, Samsung confirmed that the numbers were quite high all over the world.
According to the company, the new Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 had more pre-purchases than any other Galaxy family device previously offered for sale. In the case of smartphones, the company claims that the numbers are twice as high as those recorded a year ago when the Galaxy S21 line launched.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the consumer favorite, showing that it would have been a good idea to merge the S line with the Note line, since this device accounts for around 60% of sales to date.
In the case of the Galaxu Tab S8, the Ultra version also seems to be the favorite, accounting for around 50% of sales.
